About Me
I believe the best organizations are built by people who are empowered to do their best work.
Throughout my career, I've helped organizations solve complex operational challenges by improving processes, developing high-performing teams, and creating systems that enable sustainable growth. Whether leading cross-functional initiatives, managing organizational operations, or driving strategic projects, I enjoy finding practical solutions that make work more effective—and the people doing it more successful.
My background spans operations leadership, organizational development, project management, communications, and continuous improvement. I thrive at the intersection of strategy and execution, translating big-picture goals into actionable plans that deliver measurable results.
Leadership, to me, is rooted in service. The most rewarding part of my career has never been the projects themselves—it's helping people grow, removing barriers to their success, and building cultures where collaboration, trust, and accountability flourish.
Outside of my professional work, I'm committed to giving back through volunteer leadership, mentoring students, and supporting organizations that strengthen our communities. I believe learning never stops, and I'm continually exploring new ideas in leadership, technology, artificial intelligence, and organizational excellence.
Whether I'm leading change, improving operations, or building relationships, my goal remains the same: leave every organization stronger than I found it and help the people around me succeed.
Selected Work
Office Relocation
We outgrew our office footprint and needed to relocate. I designed and worked as the general contractor to ensure the office was built on budget and on time. The project delivered on budget and was delivered two weeks late. This was because of a delay in permitting at the front end of the project.

Ergonomic and Process Improvements
As a Scientist working in different laboratories, I reviewed every SOP and process. After identifying the top five processes with the highest ergonomic risk, the tasks were performed. Ergonomic risks were identified and reduced by 75%, and process improvements enabled higher output. One process output increased by 800%.

Reverberation Chamber Qualification
A reverberation chamber is qualified by demonstrating that it provides a diffuse, stable, and repeatable sound field that meets applicable acoustic testing standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM, or IEC) and ISO/IEC 17025 requirements. Qualification includes documenting the chamber's construction, measuring environmental conditions and background noise, verifying equipment calibration, measuring reverberation time (RT60), evaluating sound field uniformity and diffuseness, confirming the usable frequency range, and assessing measurement repeatability and uncertainty. Results are documented in a qualification report, and chamber performance is maintained through routine verification, periodic requalification, and recalibration following significant modifications.

ASTM E1222 Qualification
I directed the facilities team on how to construct the test apparatus. Once built, pre-testing took place, and an SOP was authored. A large amount of data was collected, and statistical analysis was calculated. The data were in the specifications published in the standard, and the NVLAP (National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program) application was completed. The lab earned ASTM E1222 Pipe Testing qualification on the first attempt. Having this test capability added $50 MM to the business portfolio.

Patents
Working as a scientist, I developed new products and test methods/apparatuses critical to the business. These products have the potential to bring in $200 MM in additional sales, and the test methods enabled the company to make new claims against competitors.

Work Experience
Assistant Director, Operations
Direct all chapter operational, financial, and administrative functions supporting members and union contractors. Introduced data-driven SOPs and KPIs to measure internal operations and enhance task accuracy. Developed framework and conducted employee evaluations. Created automations in financial operations to ensure payment and reporting timeliness and accuracy. Negotiated new IT, copier, and office lease contracts, achieving higher service levels and cost savings. Oversaw office relocation, optimizing workflow and expanding technology-enabled member services. Partnered with software developers to streamline labor request workflows, improving user experience and transparency. Enhanced program efficiency by leveraging data for decision-making rather than intuition. Performed industry research, utilizing quantitative and quantitative methodologies, and analyzed the data for statistical significance.
Scientist
Developed E1222 test apparatus and earned NVLAP qualification for testing and reporting. Led qualitative and quantitative research projects resulting in five patents and one trade secret. Designed and validated six proprietary test methods and trained staff on standardized implementation. Authored technical reports detailing work processes, experimental designs, and analytical findings. Streamlined Acoustic and thermal testing, achieving 800% process improvement. Served as Safety Steering Team Leader, developing monthly safety programs and training content for 100 employees. Collaborated across departments to align testing capabilities with production and quality control goals.
Assistant Band Director
Grew marching band from less than twenty students to over 100. Grew high school concert band by over 100%. Taught over 700 students per year, k-12; band, general music, orchestra.
Middle School Band Director
Taught middle school band, 6-8. Assistant Director of the High School Marching Band.
